COVID-19 CSRA PHASE 2 UPDATES - JUL 02, 2020

In following current protocols from Alberta Health, These are the new proposed guidelines for Phase 2 to be followed in the Park

- Swimming at your own risk. Water not being tested.

- Washrooms and common room open both South /North Beach

-Water fountains will remain closed

- Main building (office) closed to all Residents.

-Fishing off private docks, and access docks is allowed. All fishing should be catch and release only (until we have resumed testing the water) fishing at North and South- social distancing will be encouraged, but not policed.

-North and South Parks capacity is changing from 50 to 100 as per the guidance of Alberta Health.

-Parks will still operate under a “what you bring in, you bring out” guideline i.e. water bottles, food (not to be shared) personal items etc. This would be encouraged however we will still have garbage and recycling stations for our Residents.

-There will be no boats/paddle boards/kayaks to be loaned out. (As both boats and life jackets will be challenging to sanitize)

-Picnic tables are staggered at least 3 meters apart to encourage social distancing.

-No recreational sports equipment will be loaned out; however, Residents can bring in their own equipment and take it home again. (Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Sand toys etc.)

-

-Residents will need to present their membership card to enter the park. (No exceptions)

- Maximum three (3) guests per card permitted. Children 15 & under do not count.

-No bookings will be scheduled.

-BBQ gazebo will remain closed.

- Charcoal barbecues throughout the park will be open for Residents to use.

- Playground will be opened, with encouragement to sanitize hands before and after use

-Social distancing signage has been installed throughout the parks, please follow 2 meter distancing.

-Staff is cleaning off tables/benches regularly while wearing gloves and masks.

-Fire pit gazebo will be available for use as long as social distancing measures are in place.
