LAKE RULES
Membership
Membership fees are mandatory and are due April 1st of every year.

A “Member” is the homeowner (s) and/ or their spouse and their unmarried children who are living at the residence.
-
Members will be issued personal, non-transferable membership cards.
-
It is a serious breach of the Rules & Regulations to lend a membership card to another person.
-
Members must have their membership cards to enter the park.
-
Membership cards must be carried at all times and be presented at the request of the Beach House Staff or Security Guard.
ISSUANCE OF LAKE CARDS
The procedure for obtaining membership cards:

If you are the registered owner of the property, bring a copy of your Certificate of Title to the office along with a piece of Government issued picture ID.

If renting, the owner has to fill out a Renters Form, along with a copy of the rental lease agreement. In this way all lake privileges are handed over to the tenant and the owner no longer has any lake rights.

All members living at home that are 16 years of age or older will be required to provide proof of Coral Springs Residence (Government issued picture ID with current address on it) before the membership card is issued, provided the lake fees are paid.

Boarders and Nannies WILL NOT be issued lake membership cards, but may be issued a temporary pass with restricted privileges by the Park Manager. Homeowners must complete a consent form before a temporary pass is made.

All members 12-16 years of age must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian, and witnessed by a staff member, in order to be issued a membership card.

Members under the age of 12 years old will not be issued cards and are not permitted into the Coral Springs Amenities at any time, without the supervision of a Parent or Guardian.

Membership cards are property of the Residents Association, and must be returned if the cardholder breaches any rules.
-
There will be a $10.00 fee for any lost or stolen cards.
GUEST PRIVILEGES

Members are permitted 3 guests per card.
-
Members 12-16 years are not permitted to make a booking.
-
A member must accompany their guests at all times.
-
Members are at all times responsible for their guests.
GROUP BOOKINGS
-
Arrangements for a booking are made through the Park Manager.
-
Bookings can be made for a time limit of 3 hours with a maximum of 25 guests.
-
There is a maximum of 3/4 bookings per day for the entire Coral Springs community.
-
Bookings for the Beach House must be made a minimum of one week in advance
PROHIBITIONS
The following are completely prohibited from the Coral Springs Amenities:

Smoking anywhere on the premises.
-
Any glass bottles or other glass product.
-
Any intoxication liquor, drug or similar substance.
-
Smoking , vaping of use of ANY intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited on the ground, this includes both entrance of the park, all building, beaches, green spaces and on the lake. Members are absolutely responsible for their guest behavior, anyone violating will be told to leave the facility.

Any animal.
-
Any bicycle, or skateboard, roller blade or other vehicle or wheeled device.
-
Any open fire (other than in designated fire pit / BBQ areas).
-
Any gas powered motor boat or snowmobile.
No person shall at any time discharge, deposit, throw, dump or place any trash or debris of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation, any toxic or dangerous substance or material) in the lake, all of which are strictly prohibited at all times.
All trash shall be deposited in the receptacle provided or shall be carried away from the "Coral Springs Amenities."
LET'S KEEP OUR LAKE AND PARKS CLEAN AND SAFE!!!
BOATING

Boats can only be taken out by a qualified member aged 16 years or over.
-
Members wishing to sign out a boat must leave their own lake card at the office.
-
One membership card is required for each boat.
-
Due to the great demand, pedal boats may only be signed out for a period of 1 hour.
-
No fishing from pedal boats or kayaks. Members may fish from rowboats only!!! Boats must not be tied to private docks.
-
Life jackets must be worn at all times while using a boat on the “Coral Springs Amenities.”
-
Members must, at all times, accompany their guest(s) on the boats.
-
Members may bring a non-motorized boat (must have a water safety approved sticker).
-
Diving or swimming from boats is prohibited.
-
All boats must immediately return to shore if hazardous conditions arise, such as lightening, winds or other storm conditions.
-
Everyone must be wearing a life jacket on any flotation device outside the roped area.
-
Any boat, canoe, or sailboat being operated in a careless manner will result in the immediate suspension of boating privileges for the member(s).
In the event of a boating accident a good safety rule is:
'Stay with boat until assistance arrives. In case of an emergency call 9-1-1.'
FISHING
-
Members may fish from designated fishing areas or from row boats only!!!
-
Any fish caught by a guest will be applied against the member's daily limit.
-
Daily limit: 2-trout/ per household.
-
Monthly limit: 15-trout/per household.
-
No live bait or nets may be used to catch fish.
-
Single, barbless hooks only.
-
No cleaning of fish is permitted on the “Coral Springs Amenities.”
-
Any fish caught must be reported to the Beach House Office before leaving the premises.
-
While fishing, members are to carry their membership card.
-
Any member and/or guest not following these rules will have their fishing privileges suspended.
-
No unattended fishing lines are allowed on the “Coral Springs Amenities.”
SCUBA DIVING
-
Members may bring in guests to scuba drive providing all divers are open
water certified.
-
All divers must show their certification cards before entering the park with their dive gear.
-
All divers must dive with a certified buddy. There must be at least 2 divers in the water at all times.
-
Divers must use a dive flag so swimmers and boaters will know where the divers are.
-
Divers will be asked to sign in and out at the main gate and they will be asked to sign a waiver of Release of Liability.
-
Members that are certified instructors cannot instruct at the lake, unless the Board of Directors has approved them.
SWIMMING IN THE LAKE
THE SWIMMING AREA IS NOT SUPERVISED!!! SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
Swimming is allowed over the buoy line but proper PFD’s must be worn.
Minors (under 14) wishing to swim beyond the buoy line must have parental permission and a parent present in the park.

THERE IS NEVER A LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
