The tennis court ice rink is now OPEN! To help keep everyone safe and ensure the rink stays enjoyable for all, please take a moment to read and follow the rules below before skating.
Waiver Reminder:
All skaters must sign a one-time ice skating waiver before going on the ice.
Parents or guardians must be present to sign the waiver for children ages 12-17 before they are allowed to skate.
Skating Rink Rules & Guidelines
The CSRA is pleased to open the tennis courts for seasonal ice skating! To ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all residents while protecting our shared facility, please adhere to the following rules:
1. Ice Condition & Closures:
The rink is "Skaters Use at Your Own Risk." No formal ice maintenance is provided.
The rink will be CLOSED for skating when:
The air temperature is above 4°C (ice becomes soft and unsafe).
There is significant snow or slush on the ice.
The tennis courts are needed for their primary purpose.
Do not skate on marginal ice. Report concerns immediately to the onsite staff.
2. Hours of Operation:
Skating is permitted daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Please be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evening.
3. Access & Eligibility:
The skating rink is for the exclusive use of CSRA residents and their accompanied guests.
A resident host must be present with their guests at all times (limit 3 guests per household).
All users must sign a CSRA waiver before their first use of the season.
4. Safety Rules:
Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters, and are MANDATORY for children under 12.
Skate with control and be aware of others, especially beginners and children.
No hockey, speed skating, or rough play. Stick-and-puck activities are not permitted.
No sitting, standing, or leaving objects on the ice where they could become a hazard.
Absolutely no food, alcohol, or glass containers on the ice surface. Use the surrounding area.
5. Facility Care:
Tennis Court Surface Protection: Use the provided mat or designated area to put on and take off skates. Never walk on the tennis court surface or subsequent concrete floor in skate blades or hard boots.
Please keep the benches in the change area free and clear of any belongings for other residents’ use.
All trash and personal belongings must be removed when you leave.
6. Liability:
All skaters use the facility at their own risk. The CSRA, its Board, and management assume no liability for personal injury, accidents, or lost/damaged property.
Residents are responsible for the conduct and safety of their children and guests.
By using the community skating rink, you agree to abide by these rules.
